IT'S IN THE SENSOR

Our sensor monitors the rivet button head as it undergoes plastic deformation to achieve precise tolerance  control. The proprietary design maintains a relative frame of reference between the forming button head and the aircraft surface—without using an outside fixed body to reference an absolute position. That allows our tools to be light weight and "small enough to fit in a baseball glove".
